Heaters for the Garden Room

Very happy with my purchase, previously to changing the purpose & redecorating the room it contained two bulky unsightly convection heaters. After months of hard work it would of ruined the new look of the room to keep the old heaters, they had to go! After spending a long time looking for the right product, I found UK Infrared Company & they had the ones that ticked all the boxes. Sleek, stylish, powerful & good value for money. I purchased two black glass 1000w heaters, but they have been so good only one is really needed. However they look great in the room so I'm glad to have both. The room is not always in use so the built in thermostat is so useful. Set low to tick over when not in use, then back to normal when I'm in there. The heaters handle the temperature changes great, it's not long till the room is back up to normal room temperature. Can't fault the product at all!

We purchased the Far infrared heater 'lavender range' smart wifi control due to us not having central heating in the kitchen. We did have a very old electric heater which did not heat the room up very well. This heater is fantastic for heating the room and looks smart too! To be able to control the heating from our phones is a really good feature, no more going into a cold room and I can turn it off with my phone to save electricity.
We are really pleased with the heater and would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased the infra red radiators back in August. Dale was only to helpful with calling me and giving me plenty of advice on the best system / specs to get the most out of them. Having installed them in a Grade 2 apartment with a less than average energy rating , with a lot of exposed brick walls and high ceilings. To my surprise my electric bill has stayed low over the winter , and the radiators really do keep the rooms incredibly warm thanks to the thermostat system that I can control wirelessly through the MY BVF app, selecting room temperatures individually. For the cost of the system compared to the low electric bill was definitely worth the investment over storage heaters or electric radiators.

Mirror Heater for the Bathroom

I had a heater installed in my small, cold en-suite. What an amazing difference! The bathroom looks much bigger and is now so warm. I call it my "magic mirror". It looks great and is the best thing I've bought in years. Very easy to set timer and quick to install. Excellent value! Highly recommended!

We have two infrared heaters in our house. We initially bought a mirror panel to 'test' this new technology we stumbled upon. It sounded too good to be true. But I must admit we have been pleasently surprised- we installed it in the dining area. The warmth from it is amazing. It really does feel like the sun! We were having mould and damp issues, due to the area we live in, and the panels have helped reduce that. After seeing its benefit, we bought a plain white panel for the main bedroom. It works so well in the bedroom as it's smaller and the warm is lovely. The service we received from the infrared heater company has been amazing. They took so much time to speak us through all the different types of panels and answer all our questions... And we had a lot! I would highly recommend them. We would also recommend you buy a thermostat with it as that really helps you to gauge the temperature in the room and adjust as need be. The only thing we would like is a function to turn it on for just an hour at a time. Otherwise we have been happy with both buys.

I am delighted with the infra-red heaters that I received from your company. They have been installed in the annexe of our house as it was not connected to our central heating system and I am thinking of installing them in the house as well instead of fossil fuel central heating. They are particularly economical because of the smart thermostat controls that I can programme to fit in with the times I want to use the annexe which is mainly during the day. I have two 800w ceiling heaters - one in the sitting room area and one in the craft area and 500w ceiling heaters in the kitchen area and entrance hall. Also an infrared bathroom mirror. There are two thermostats so I set them on 18 during the day and 10 at night but can easily add a boost if I want to.

By using the ceiling it leaves the walls free which means that I can put the furniture where I want it. The annexe was very cold as it has 3 external walls so we had then dry lined and with the heaters it is transformed into a very cosy and usable room. I like the heat that they produce. It feels different without air being blown around and the room feels dry whereas there was a huge damp problem previously with conventional electric heaters and so much condensation. The cost of them was much less than other quotes that I had and so I felt that they were good value for money. I can thoroughly recommend them. I have attached 2 photos of the living space, one each of craft, kitchen and entrance areas and one of the bathroom mirror. I hope that these are suitable but if you want them taken differently please let me know. If you want me to elaborate on anything I am happy to do this

Many thanks

Heaters for Conservatory

Our conservatory, heated with a butane gas heater, had an aging polycarbonate roof that was due for replacement. During our research for the roof, we also looked at options to dispense with the gas heater. We found the Infrared Heater Company and were initially interested in the white wall mounted heaters, but when we noticed clear glass panels that could be mounted in the apex of the conservatory roof we chose those. Our Conservatory is around 5.5m by 3.5m and on the North-East side of our house so we thought it would take quite a lot of heating and decided to go with 2 of the 1700W glass panel heaters, although the guidance suggested one would be sufficient.
This choice was not without its challenges.
The first of these was integrating the heaters into our house wiring, due to their loading our electrician had to undertake quite a bit of work to get the two heaters connected (via a wall mounted controller/thermostat).
The second challenge came in with adjusting the thermostat to achieve reasonable comfort. The two panel solution turned out to be the right decision, our installation was late November, so already cold, and the conservatory was being used as an auxiliary office, occupied during most of the day so it needed to be warm. Initially we set 23 degrees C but soon found that the nature of the heat generated by the panels resulted in the room feeling much warmer than the thermostat was reading and the heaters remaining on way past what felt comfortable. It took a good deal of trial and error before we adjusted the thermostat to achieve an acceptable comfort level (down to 20.5 Degrees C on the thermostat in our case).
In terms of energy use it is hard to say, they certainly seem to cost less to run than butane for the gas heater (though it should be noted the new roof is glass, hence marginally better insulated than the twin wall polycarbonate) and are technically more environmentally friendly, but, in our use case, they do have the smart meter flashing amber.
If I were to seek improvements, I would suggest the following:
1. The frame powder coat would blend in better if available in white.
I would like to see more options for mounts, the two brackets are OK, but they are quite short so limited how we could have them fitted, they are shaped for wall mounting, rather than ceiling and not that aesthetically pleasant given the clear glass heater (they really do need to be painted/coated to match the panel frame).
(This may have been our mistake in ordering the wrong thing) The timer/thermostat is designed for under floor heating and has limited 'programmability' also there are functions that simply are not required, I would suggest there may be better options.
Other than the installation and initial set up issues they seem to have worked fine and the only 2, fairly minor, issues are:
They do make quite an audible hum not loud or annoying, but present.
Secondly, and this may well be specific to our installation, as we have them parallel with the floor they have acted as a collection plate for dead flies and dust, which if you are concerned about climbing a couple of meters up a stepladder to clean them, may make that positioning unsuitable, but there are many mounting options that may reduce that issue so it should not be a showstopper.

Bottom line – We like them a lot, they look good, and they warm the room.

Heaters for Conservatory, Dundee

We are a retired couple living in Dundee in a Victorian south-facing terraced house and have recently had a new conservatory built on the north side of the house. Silly place to have a conservatory, you may think, but as we are in a conservation area, putting it on the front of the house was not an option.
On the east coast of Scotland we get a lot of fine, bright weather but often with a chilly wind, which makes it too cold to sit outside. Our kitchen-dining room on the north of the house receives no direct sun, so we thought that it would be pleasant to add a room where we would have the sky over our heads and although it may not get the sun for 4 months of the year, it does get morning sun for 8 months and full sun during the summer. Early in the process we started to consider what sort of heating would be best. The conservatory is octagonal, with a glazed entrance passage - rather like a lollipop on a stick. The glazing goes all the way to the ground so there was no possibility of low radiators on sleeper walls or any spare wall for a vertical radiator. We wanted the heating to be flexible: being energy conscious, we did not want it coming on every day at a fixed time when we might not be there to use it but on the other hand, if we wanted to have a coffee or read the paper there, we would need some heat at short notice. For this reason, we decided that underfloor heating was too unresponsive - it would be wasting when you didn’t need it and take too long to heat up if you suddenly decided you did want it. Plug-in electric heaters would be expensive to run, unattractive, a trip-hazard and take up valuable floor space - so they were out. At this point, we became aware of infrared panels and started to investigate them; reviews seemed favourable that they heated up quickly and gave out a pleasant quality of heat. We went and looked at a local showroom & my husband thought that hanging 2 or 3 opaque white ones from the roof might be the way forward. I, however, was less enthusiastic as this seemed to negate having a glass ceiling if you then blanked it out with opaque panels. So I continued to hunt online - and suddenly came across the Far transparent glass panels from the Infrared Heater Company. I had never imagined such a thing might exist - a heater that you could see through! But it was an instant “no-brainer” - clear glass panels for a clear glass roof! Dale Rose was very helpful and from our plans calculated what size of panels might be best. As the difference in price between panel sizes is not great, we decided to opt for 2 panels of the more generous 800W specification to ensure that we would not be under-heated. We also purchased a thermostat. It was a bit of a puzzle to know where to place them in a circular space, especially since they could only be hung at the specific height that matched the width of their brackets to the tent-like structure of the ceiling beams. They were eventually directed towards the table, where one might most usually sit. We are very pleased with them. Within minutes of being turned on, even though the space is cold, you can feel their heat, rather like having the sun on your back on a winter’s day. Then gradually the whole space warms up. The conservatory was finished just before Christmas and as we had the whole family staying, it was useful to have an extra room where grandchildren could be sent to do crafty things. However, it was very cold in January and February and we thought that it was neither responsible nor economic to heat the conservatory up through more than 15 degrees, so we did not really use it. Now, with the outside temperature hovering around 10 degrees and the sun starting to hit it in the morning, heating it is much more viable; after a relatively short time the space is pleasantly warm. At present, we tend to run the system on the on-off switch (which has a red reminder light!) rather than the thermostat but as our usage settles into more of a pattern, I daresay we shall use this more often. The panels are very discreet and one hardly notices that they are there. Guests can't understand where the heat is coming from and are rather incredulous when it is explained to them! We have no idea yet about the running costs but are not thinking too hard about it just now, as it is such a boon to have this bright, airy - and warm - garden space. The game is definitely worth the candle! We are very satisfied with the outcome; for a conservatory such as ours and the way we are using it, we think that the solution of Far Thermo Glass transparent panels from the Infrared Heater Company could not have been bettered.

I first became aware of IR radiator in the TV programme Grand Design. So on a visit to the NSBC in Swindon, when I was collecting information and ideas with my forthcoming double storey extension, I made sure I looked at available IR radiator there.
My first impression was that it's a brilliant idea. I read up on more information about IR radiators on the internet, as well as other heating methods available to home owner like me.
I knew gas boiler will be on the way out, but it wouldn't be economical for me to rip it out (it's only 3 years old) and start again for the whole house. So I looked at way of deversivise from the gas boiler.
Originally I was going to go IR radiators in all areas of the extension, but was told by an estate agent that when I come to sell the house, not all buyers will like non-gas heating, so I hedge my bet and go with a mixture of gas, IR and underfloor heating.
In the new extension ground floor, I have underfloor heating. In part of the old house (but renovated) I ripped out the gas radiators and installed ceiling mounted IR radiator connected via a thermostat to control the temperature.
In the upstairs master bedroom its a mixture of gas central heating plus supplementary IR radiators. One close to the bed and one in the bathroom. These 2 are controlled by pull cords so they can be on/off independently as we wish, as the name suggests, their main function is to supplement the heating if needs arise.
After one winter using the IR radiators, our experiences are very positive. The one controlled via a thermostat works well, it comes on when it gets too cold, the warmth it gives is very gentle, no dryness as with a gas central heating or burnt smell from an electric heater. They say heat is pretty much spontaneous, but my experience would suggest 5 mins or so for the warmth to make any difference. However, the biggest plus is the one in the bedroom and the bathroom.
Say when the central heating has stopped, and we are still up in the bedroom, if it starts to get cold, we simply pull the pull cord and switch on the one near the bed and the whole area stays very toasty. The biggest bonus is the one in the bathroom, we all know that even with the central heating on, the bathroom can feel a bit cold coming out of the shower or bath, we simply switch on the one in the bathroom 5 mins before we have shower or bathroom, and every surface is lovely and warm.
Running costs wise, they are very good too. The one in the bedroom and bathroom are only 600w, so even with it on for the hour will only cost about 10p. The one downstairs is 900w, cost would be about 14p for the hour, since its control by a thermostat, it come on and off on it's own and in practice will cost less than that.
If you add a battery powered by solar panels and the IR radiators will pretty much run cost free.

Practising Electrician

I am a practising electrician who has been aware of the benefits of far infra-red heating for a few years now, but had not had the opportunity to install more than a stand-alone plug-in FIR heater until a few weeks ago when I had to renovate a rental property which had very old and ropey night storage heaters. I purchased four “Lux” bar heaters from the Infra Red Heater Company to replace the night storage heaters in the property. Upstairs, we chose 600 W heaters for the bedrooms, and downstairs, we selected 800 W for the kitchen and 1kW for the sitting room. The upstairs heaters and downstairs heaters were supplied as two individual 16 Amp circuits from the consumer unit to a Programmable Room Thermostat (701) where they then split off to their final locations in the individual rooms. Wiring diagram: I was able to speak directly to the company director, Mr Dale Rose, to confirm that my own calculations for power rating and room size were suitable. Mr Rose was also on hand to give more detailed descriptions of how the heaters were fitted and how they were wired. The installation of the heaters went without a hitch and the tenants are more than satisfied with the heating comfort levels and quality of the air now in the house. Far infra red heaters are an efficient way to heat a room because energy is not wasted in heating circulating air currents. The efficiency of the heaters in this property has been further increased through of the level of control achieved from the room thermostats. This means the heaters are not constantly on, but can be programmed to come on at pre-programmed times to suit the needs of the user. Once pre-determined levels of heat are achieved, the heaters will switch off until the temperature drops again. Overall, I have been very impressed by the quality of product and the level of customer support from the Infra Red Heating Company and I would not hesitate to choose their products again or recommend them to another customer.

The Edinburgh Music Centre

I was delighted with both the service and advice I received from the infrared heater company.
I like to call when I use a new company, as all too often I have received bad service and like to know I am using a reliable company.
From the offset Dale gave me advise on heater type and the correct set up I would require for my application, order arrived next day, however the box was damaged, Dale arranged collection and sent out a replacement heater straight away, along with other items I should have added to my first order. Replacement heaters arrived the next day and we are at this moment having them fitted in our music shop in Edinburgh. We are VERY happy with the look of the heaters.
I would not hesitate to recommend the infared heater company to any one who is looking for a new heater for there home or shop.

For two flats, with the intention of renting these out, I bought four 1000Kw heaters and one 800 W heater with four manual programmable thermostats. This followed research into the most economical forms of electric heating to run, with the idea of a happy tenant likely to stay there longer and look after the place better.
Those from “The Infrared Heater Company” were the lowest priced ones I found, and they came with free next day delivery. Firstly, in trying to heat one room, as an example, where regular heating requirement was quoted as being between 3kw and over 5kw, depending on which company advised on this, with infrared heating, this came up as under 1.4 kw. As it is a big room, I bought two 1 kW heaters to make sure it was well heated. They were only around £20 each more expensive than two 800W ones, the next most likely I’d have bought. The other rooms were all heated with 1 kw heaters, and a single 800 W heater.
While I could possibly have installed them myself, I opted to get an electrician to install them for professionalism and speed – took ten hours to install five heaters with four thermostats in four rooms.
Once installed, I found them to be effective at heating the rooms within a minute or two, possibly a wee bit longer for the far corners but nothing concerning.
But to come to the best part - the feel of the infrared radiance on the skin and muscles felt to me, really great - akin to sitting in direct sunlight, without concerns about sunburn or similar; I found skin and muscle to feel far more comfortable and relaxing than regular air heating. All the good parts maybe of sitting on a sunbed without worries about skin complaints
In all, they are very effective heaters, they feel great and in “The Infrared Heater Company”, possibly the cheapest on the market.

Just wanted to say Thankyou for your help in purchasing the Infrared Heaters 4 x 750 watt panels they all work perfectly and even though I was a bit dubious to begin with had a good feeling about using this system. and the fact you are at the end of the phone to help with any queries its all connected up and running through the thermostat . one thing I would say just to make everyone clear the thermostat doesn't work like a conventional central heating system. you have for daily on and off settings we thought the thermostat would kick the heaters on when it got below the desired temperature it only comes back on when the next programs is set to come on the next time setting ,so unless you over ride the system you may have cold spells whilst you wait for next setting to come on everyone has commented on the type of heat and healthy heat been very impressed and the 5 year warranty is good as well, I cant ever see me using convector heaters again and these are cheaper to run ,will defo come back to you again in the future.

Many Thanks

I am a big fan of infra red heaters. They are my first choice for heating solutions. I first experimented with them in two shower rooms at a campsite I used to own. The underfloor heating had failed due to water ingress. All the shower rooms needed were 600 watt panels connected to a thermostat/timer. Because the heat is felt by the person or object the benefit is much more apparent than the old underfloor heating system. Also the heat up time is much quicker ... so saved money by having them on come on later in the mornings. The campers were very impressed by the warm shower rooms. I now use a single panel where I am sitting typing this now! My office is a largish room adjacent to my garage. I just turn it on in when it is cold when I sit down. After a few minutes I am warm. Again just a 600 watt panel. When it gets too warm I just turn it off. I have a very large snooker room over the garage. Previously the room was heated by storage heaters. So impractical. I can use the snooker room any time I want. I have 4 1000 watt panels which will quickly raise the temperature from very cold. I just turn them on 30 minutes before I want to play. They are on thermostats and turn themselves off. Or I just turn 2 on. Infrared panels are a no brainer for lots of applications. You can install them yourself. Just hang and plug it in. Instant heat! All my friends have been very impressed ... and most had not heard of them. I thoroughly recommend.

After several days of online research I telephoned the Infrared Heating Company with my requirements. We have just refurbished a one bedroom flat on two floors that had old fashioned storage heaters the flat is electric only and I wanted to avoid high heating costs so infrared looked the most likely to suit our needs. I spoke to Dale who confirmed my choices of heater. I bought two 700watt Far infrared heaters with built in thermostat for the lounge/dining area and a 600watt ceiling heater in Thermoglass "MAX" for the bathroom.

The lounge heaters simply plug in then adjust the temperature to suit , the ceiling heater I installed myself I had an electrician previously install a fused outlet so it was just a matter of connecting up. The lounge heaters are fantastic we have had them running for a fortnight just in the evenings we have a well insulated flat so running costs are minimal. My wife loves them they don't have vents so no dust build up and they are silent. The bathroom "MAX" heater is hot hot hot! And its wonderful, incredible because it's so small. I wouldn't hesitate using the Infrared Heating Company again, highly recommended.

Many thanks.

Previous to purchasing the infrared heaters, I did not have any real heating in my house. I purchased my house without heating ever being installed in it, it is an older house. I literally had a gas fire in the living room and a log burning stove in the kitchen. My hot water is heated by the immersion.
I decided to add heating but did not want all my floorboards up or the disruption that’s comes with having gas central heating installed. I did some research and found the infrared company and their heaters. The heaters are literally screwed to the wall and plugged in - simple. So cheap and economical to run as well as being super thin and elegant. I would definitely recommend to anyone these heaters as a better alternative to gas central heating and all the ugly pipe work. Here are a few pictures of my heaters in the hallway, living room and bedroom including one showing how slimline they are ...

I am writing to relate my experience of your fantastic heaters.
We moved into our current property early January 2018 which has no gas supply - is only electric. We had to get rid of outdated and ugly storage heaters which were inefficient - we are retired and need the house to be warm all day during the winter months - by early afternoon the old storage heaters were stone cold.
I researched what types of electrical heating are 'out there' and came across your website. I delved into the concept of far infrared heating and decided to place an initial order of one heater to see how it performed. We were very pleased with its performance and went on to order more heaters and have not looked back. They are stylish, very efficient and economical. It feels as if one is sitting in warm sunshine.
If we were to move house again and there was gas central heating in place, we would rip it all out and install your heaters.

The advantages of far infrared heating are :
- No gas boiler to maintain or the necessity to have to purchase a new one when the old one needs replacing (very costly)
- No leaking radiators to worry about
- No carbon monoxide emissions to worry about
- Stylish heaters rather than 'clumpy' huge gas radiators
- No unsightly pipes up and down walls or along skirting boards - you just plug in the heater and that's all there is to it
- Running costs are greatly reduced - the heaters are very efficient - they warm up very quickly.
- We have put timers on our heaters so that we wake up to a lovely warm and cosy home during the winter months.

Overall .... a fantastic product at a very affordable price.
It is also very exciting to see the new products which are shown on your website. it is surely the way forward as a concept in heating both in a commercial and home environment.
Well done and thank you Dale for being so helpful on the phone.

Kind regards

"The heaters purchased were for a terraced house I rent out. There was previously ugly night storage heaters fitted. The tenants had moved out and the whole house needed decorating. I wasn’t happy painting around the old night storage heaters. They are ridiculously expensive to replace and in my opinion old technology. As the property had no gas I needed a solution. After researching on the internet I actually found it hard to find any real negatives regarding infrared heating in residential properties. I came across the infrared heating company. I had a list of questions. I phoned The Infrared Company and decided to place an order. I opted for the panel heaters with the normal uk 3 pin plug. The heaters have individual thermostats. I had power points installed near the top of the walls where the heaters were to be fitted. This hid any wires coming down the wall. I also fitted small plug timers so the tenants could set when the heaters operated. I purchased 6 heaters in the end. The heaters come with a decent warranty which gave me piece of mind. The delivery was extremely fast and well packed. The tenants have reported they are very pleased with the heaters. They like the modern look and their efficiency. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase to phone Dale and tell him your plans and try to get a deal. He’ll advise you on the best place to install the heaters which is quite important for this type of heating. My bottom line is infrared panels are cheaper to purchase and cheaper to run than night storage heaters along with the other health and home benefits they can offer. Best regards. Alan"

I was looking for a heating solution for my daughters small cottage. She has no gas supply and previously relied on old night storage heaters. I looked at installing a traditional central heating system but decided, after reading many articles that we should try an infrared system. The main drivers for this decision was; timescale, disruption and installation cost. I was a little skeptical, so ordered two heaters to try them. It was so easy to order, next day delivery and an hour after delivery they were working! I quickly ordered four more and the job was done. She has a lovely warm house, which is a soft, gentle heat which is not drying like many central heating systems. My daughter is incredibly happy, and so far, costs seem to be less than her old system. More importantly, it’s warm when she needs it.

I had decided to buy some infrared heaters to replace old night storage heater so I checked out your website which I found very helpful . The advice was very clear and I used the infrared room calculator to ensure I picked the right size heater to warm the rooms.
I placed my order for 2 Far Infrared Heater 700w with built in thermostat with Feet rollers, 1 Far Infrared Heater 400w with built in thermostat and 1 Wall mounted Picture heater Leopard.
I ordered them on a Friday and they arrived perfectly packed on the next Monday.
The feet rollers were easy to attach and one heater was intended to be placed on a wall so that it reflected the heat into the room and away from the windows.
Using the built in thermostat control on the “Far” heaters it is easy to set the required room temperature. Although it has not been cold enough to use them much yet each one has been tested and works well.
The picture heater does require and thermostat plug which I purchased separately. I love the picture and it looks so good on the office bedroom wall.
The heaters are neat tidy and Flexible and the ones on rollers can be moved around which is good for cleaning as well.

I am very Impressed and pleased. Thank you

Yours Sincerely

We now have three infrared panel heaters and have been very pleased with them and once ordered excellent prompt delivery. We generate solar electric and use these when we are exporting to the grid so are run on free electricity. Being low wattage means we can have them in two rooms we use the most, which are also north facing so we get to feel the heat where you wouldn’t normally from the sun. The third one bought later has a thermostat on which we got for our son’s bedroom so he can control his room temperature. They are easy to install and then just plug in so they soon up and running. They are the best heaters for us that suit our requirements. They are slim wall mounted leaving the floor space clear and out of arm's reach of small children. We like the clean heat free of fumes and silent.

We bought the Infrared Mirror Heater (800w), and it’s proved to be an excellent purchase both in terms of heating and efficiency. As you can see from the photo, we have wooden floors and the way heater works means that it warms that up (rather than the air between them) along with all the furniture in the room, which then in turn radiate heat into the room. We have the mirror connected to a wifi smart plug, which means we can schedule when the mirror turns on in the morning, and when it will automatically turn off. Additionally it means that we can turn it on and off when we are out of the house. This was especially useful earlier in the year when we were away from the house for an extended period - it allowed us to make sure the house was warm enough that the pipes didn’t freeze! We’re going to buy an additional wall mounted heater for a different part of the house and connect it to the smart plug too.

I’m a home owner and purchased the items to heat the bottom floor of my two storey house, one in the living room, one in the kitchen-diner. Delivery was extremely fast. The mirror one warms the living room (16 sm) in about 30 mins and that costs about 35p. The white one in the kitchen-diner also the same. It’s great as it warms the body up instead of the air in the room so you can feel The warmth straight away. Positives: extremely fast heating, looks good, space saver, mirror one has a great wall mounting bracket. Negative: the mirror one could have a white cable, not removable branded sticker on top corner, white one has a rubbish wall mounting bracket- wobbles a lot even though it’s our up properly, would be great if you could put it up vertically as well and not just horizontally. Overall very happy with my decision of going with infrared panels instead of radiators.

I purchased the large glass mirror infrared heater and we love it. We looked into infrared heaters as I had suffered mould toxicity and was told infrared would help, the mould was in our bedroom hidden behind the bed and we needed to keep our room warmer to stop the mould coming back so an infrared heater would kill two birds with one stone. We are extremely happy with our heater, it looks great and the heat that comes from it is so nice. It feels like having the sun shining on your face. We bought the plug in thermostat so we will be able to keep our room at a lovely temperature. We have a radiator but my husband will not let me have it on as it gives him a blocked nose as the heat dries out the air. The infrared heater is not the same, it has the goodness of the sun without the UV. I really recommend them, this company have been great too with very fast delivery and choice of products and design.

Service was excellent, asked for and got a small discount, bought 5 heaters of different types and power, a picture one, a black one, a basic white one with vents and a roll up hanging one with picture and another smaller white one.
All well packaged and protected, quick delivery and with plugs although we wired them into switches. All work well.
The roll up one will also heat the well behind so best hanging away from wall. The basic white one with vents at top is the best and does an excellent job with quick warming.
All of them are economical and thin and unobtrusive so good for hallways. Easy to fit and also come with optional wheels. Easy non fiddly controls or complicated working out power reqd.
Will buy again.

Gwent Energy CIC

At present many community centres waste a lot of energy heating the whole building ready for use. We want to find a way to avoid wasting a lot of energy preheating a building for an evening event. Infrared has the potential to do this.
We are experimenting with infrared heating as a cost effective way to heat community buildings halls in a zero carbon way. Infrared coupled with solar and batteries has the potential to deliver this. It may be the ONLY technology for many poorly insulated community buildings where hours of preheating using fossil fuel is currently required
We have 5 heaters on test at llanarth village hall near Abergavenny. The test is to determine if infrared is acceptable to users and how it will be used, to replace oil heating. Installation was straightforward and consisted of 3 heaters in the kitchen and 2 heaters in the meeting room. The test is taking longer than expected due to covid lockdown and only hall staff are benefiting at present.
After we learn the lessons, we plan to roll these out to about 40 more halls on the journey to zero carbon in Gwent.

Heaters for Garden Room

Garden Room Installation
I bought 2 x Pion 700W panels to heat a garden room of approx 3m x 2.5m x 2.25m, plus a "Netmostat N-1" thermostat for added control.
Before purchase, the helpful guys at the Infrared Heating Company advised that, for a room of this size (with concrete base and single-skin wooden walls), depending on usage I might be OK with a 1kW panel, but that 1.4kW would certainly be enough. Given the layout and roof beam structure, I decided to go with the 2x700W arrangement, which fitted well. The previous owners had used this as a "home office" but our usage is expected to be more occasional, albeit we want to ensure that the room remains dry and frost-protected. Hence the addition of a thermostat. NB if you just want to use these panels "on demand", then a simple mains connection with a switch will suffice. I decided to cannibalise the existing light fitting power supply and connected the panels in parallel, which works well. (I'll fit separate new lighting in due course...)

In use the panels are very good. They take a few minutes to warm up fully (and perhaps even longer to cool down when switched off) but in operation they are very effective and provide good heating throughout the room. The appearance is also elegant and discreet. Obviously one needs the headroom such that there is no risk of touching them when hot, but the cables provided allow a lot of flexibility in the mounting, and they feel *very* secure. The power cables could be longer - they also come with some rather neat cable connectors but given that I was hanging them quite high, I was hoping to wire both panels straight into the light socket, which worked with one but I needed the connector for the second; The Netmostat (and accompanying iPhone App) were more tricky to set up and, frankly, not as functional as expected. We have a HIVE system for the main house and the Netmostat would be a poor comparison if this were our main system. However, for this relatively simple setup, it suffices. I have a simple one-timezone approach which is set to keep the room above 10 degrees at all times (in order that we can over-winter plants and prevent damp and frost). When actually in the room and in need of more, I switch it to manual and select a target temperature in the 20s - and then back to programme control when I leave. There is a third "eco" mode which I never use. The whole thing is "downstream" of what used to be the light switch, so the latter now acts as a master "off switch" should I need it. The impression given is that the App provides much more control than the device itself, but I didn't find this - hopefully the App will get better over time.
However, with a Netmostat ID and appropriate configuration, I can now monitor the room temperature from anywhere with the iPhone App, and turn the system on and off. I could change the temperature also but I don't need that. So it's "OK".

Home in London

I live in an old pre 1900 house.
Its always been difficult to heat. During lockdown i was working from home. to have the whole central heating system in the freezing winter on all day was not an option. So i looked around for something for an individual which was economical and could be on for very long period of time ie all day.i came across infrared heaters. It sounded a novel idea and thought would try it. I chose a lovely golden sunset scene to go with the fireplace surround.
The heating system worked beautifully. For the first time I actually felt comfortably warm. Its just remarkable.
The picture panel is so good I am now thinking of buying more for the other rooms. They warm and enhance a place. Even in summer they adorn a room because of the picture. far better than radiators which we try to hide this can ve the focus of a room and its functional. If you are looking to buy one make sure you chose the correct size for the room and position for maximum effect .
The controls takes time to master and if I have any criticism its the instructions need to be re written in plain English rather than a google translate from German. but the heater is fab. I can now heat my art out !

The Infrared Heating Company is the kind of organisation that has become all too rare in recent years. Professional, responsive and diligent. My heaters arrived promptly well packaged and in good condition. On opening the first box I could see the quality of manufacture of the heaters was of a standard much higher than those I had bought earlier from another supplier. My first impressions were absolutely correct and I continue to be delighted with how easy they are to install and both the look and performance of the four units I purchased.
My house is a very old village property that has served as the pub, cider mill, tea rooms, village store and post office at different times over its long history. With its thick stone walls and plethora of beams I was concerned at first that this extremely modern technology wouldn’t some how fit in. Those concerns have completely evaporated and I am now enjoying the gentle warmth of my decision.
I am working through the house and will definitely be ordering another batch of panels for the next phase of my project.

Home in Cork

I have a badly placed gas central heating radiator in my living room which never heats up one end of the room.
I ordered a picture heater from Infra Red Heaters very informative web site on Aug 31st. It arrived promptly and I had it up and working on my living room wall in about 30mins. I usually set temp to 30 and then adjust it down to 21 as the room heats up, it's a lovely comfortable heat. When the colder weather arrives I'm confident my heater will deal with it.
I have recommended Infra Red Heaters to my family & friends and explained to them the benefits of infrared heat.

Home in Great Yarmouth

I don't have gas so I removed economy 7, 3kw storage heater from bedroom. plunged for 750w picture heater. room is approx. 20m2. set it to 20 centigrade turned it on at 8pm went to bed at about 10.30pm. I can only say say toasty comfortable heat. the heat is not stuffy as was with the storage heater. now its set for 6am to 8am and then 8pm to 11pm. yes I did feel comfortable all night. its not quiet winter yet but the room felt warm and cosy and can have heater on a few hours at night as before with economy 7 the room had lost most of its heat by evening. to drop from 3kw to 750w is a massive saving to run for about 5 hours a day. its not radiant heat but the bed covers and walls and carpets seem warm
the thermostat is a bit fiddly but just have to read the information and take your time. the picture went well on the wall and I hid the cable behind some plastic pipe like a tv on wall and plugged it to a socket. to hang can be a bit fiddly you just need some accurate measurements before you drill the wall.
now looking to replace the 3 other 3kw heaters in the house. very helpful guy on the phone. so am looking at a saving from 9kw to 3kw with timers and thermostats working to have heat when at home.

Exmoor Zoo

We have used the infra-red heating company for a number of years to supply clean efficient long wave radiation heat for both our livestock & personnel here at Exmoor Zoo. The more recent ceiling mounted “Lux” models are extremely useful and energy efficient for us in livestock situations where we do not wish any contact with terrestrial animals. In contrast, the ceiling mounted metal infrared heating panels we have safely been able to use with our primates and birds as they are mounted sufficiently close to the surface to prevent any detrimental animal contact with the heating unit. The moorland of Exmoor is subject to strong winds which can enter dwellings and the use of infrared longwave radiation is not so easily dispersed like convectional heat which tends to rise and be lost. The emission waves also enable us to select their angles and determine the heating points within the dwellings. Animals can then rest at a selected position and gently and naturally warm up even if air movement is occurring inside their living quarters.
We have for these reasons chosen and selected ceiling mounted metal infrared heating panels for our staff room which forever has doors and windows being opened. We also used this for our front reception area at admissions for the front of house staff who are subject to doors being opened by customers and the winds of Exmoor dispersing heat. Infrared heating helps overcome this problem of convectional dispersion.
All the products we have ordered on their website have been dispatched securely, arrived undamaged and within the arranged time limits.

Infrared Heater For Tortoise

Just wanted to say how delighted we are with the infrared radiant panel purchased from your company. We bought the 500w 'Max' panel which is a slimline panel which we've had installed in our tortoise house which is inside a shed. The nights are cold and our giant tortoise needs to be kept at 26 degrees c ambient and this, connected to a thermostat, is perfect. It warms him and his enclosure but switches off when it exceeds 26 degrees. We have it mounted on the wall of his night box at an angle so it directs heat over him. You could mount on the ceiling too. The actual panel is only 80cm by 12cm so unobtrusive in a small space. My Sulcata tortoise is very happy with the heat and has started eating and moving more (he's a non-hibernating breed). Dale ensured I received the product within 2 days and provided all the advice I needed to help me decide which purchase to make. The product was well packaged and the instructions simple for my electrician to install. I am very happy with the product and the service we received.

Energy Evolution Limited

Just a quick testimony to you with regards to the infrared heating company's brilliant heating panels.
We have purchased from you numerous times and have always found our initial conversation regarding what exactly we are looking for to be helpful, informative, both for us and our customers, after we have established the correct products and accessories required the ordering procedure is again really simple and delivery has always been when requested on time and with no mistakes! This is always one of the most important parts of the process for us as we use a third party installation team and if incorrect or late delivery means it costs us money!
If we do have any issues with delivery or the actual product then it's always dealt with happily and efficiently.
What is always extremely helpful is the ease of installation and the guidance available to my installation teams if required thank you for that.
We installed 10 panels for a recent job where we were also installing LED and EV all for the same client so a big job and just like to say you guys were spot on when we had an issue with regards to where exactly we could fit the thermostats for the the most efficient readings. I have included some images of a very good installation and more importantly a very happy client.
I genuinely can't recommend you guys enough and will 100% be using you in the future, even though we have other manufacturers/suppliers much closer to us.
Thank you once again.

Victory Martial Arts

We love the infrared heaters They manage to heat in a very cost effective way a large open space in our welcome area and our conference room
They are so much easier to use than our previous space heaters ,plus they are streamlined and don't detract from the look of the area.
Cost effective ,silent and attractive heaters that do their job perfectly. One of the best buys we have made in terms of reducing costs and heating the areas needed.I would highly recommend these heaters and this company, very professional and great customer care.

Tile Heaters

During lockdown we temporarily moved to our stables in order to have some space and keep an eye on our animals properly. During the day it was fine but the evenings got quite chilly, quite quickly so we decided to look for an ethical and cheap source of heating. We looked at various heaters and having heard about infra-red heaters decided to start off with a small type to see if it worked or not.
When it arrived (very promptly) we were surprised by how small it was but installed it anyway. The heater came with all the fittings and was easy to wire into a plug although we decided to fit it into the lighting circuit and gave it its own switch.
When we turned it on we waited a few minutes and it began to warm up quite nicely. Very soon we were amazed at how much heat it gave out, the thing is, it's not like heat off a radiator, it's like sitting in the sun but without the brightness. The heater is only 180mm * 800mm and about 10mm thick, very lightweight and gives out an amazing amount of heat for such a small thing. The really odd thing with it, is that it doesn't burn if you touch it.
We will never go back to radiators now and although we have just the one in the barn we have since bought panel heaters to fit in the suspended ceiling at the office. These too are great particularly as the front door is often open letting cold air in, but as the heaters heat the object in line of their rays as opposed to the air itself our reception staff still feel the benefit.
It's an amazing piece of technology and I would recommend it to anyone.
My only words of caution would be to place the heaters where you will be in line with them and don't go for cheaper brands, we bought a couple of larger heaters from elsewhere and were very disappointed.

Warmest Regards
Chris Fleet

Heaters for Office

The performance of the units exceed our own and clients expectations, so much so our client is now looking to get these units in other parts of their offices. Fitting was very easy, no different from fitting a normal ceiling tile and can be wired however required.

Wellness Space - Yoga Studio

As a yoga studio we wanted to start offering hot yoga classes. Our radiators weren't powerful enough to heat our space and we didn't want to use heaters that blew the air out. In the end, we bought 6 700W InfraRed Heaters for Armstrong Suspended Ceiling and they work great. We also bought the Central Control Box and Multi-zone Controller which means the heating can be turned on remotely before the teacher leaves their house to heat to the studio so it's ready for when they arrive. Being able to control this heating system from our phones is also great for when we forget to turn the heating off: there is no need to drive back to the studio - just control it from your smartphone. For a yoga class it also gives off a really nice dry and evenly distributed heat. We've had great service with this company and no issues with any of our products so I'd recommend them to anyone.

Cafe "Twist" in Plymouth

In our first winter open we were looking for a cost-effective way to keep our cafe cosy. We have no gas in the building, so needed an electrical option, and time was of the essence. We're so pleased we came across The Infrared Heater Company. They provided a professional, thorough and personal service. They chatted through all our requirements and really got an understanding for what we needed. The heaters arrived quickly and we were toasty warm before we knew it! We have 2 x 1300W heaters to heat the downstairs space, which is approximately 90 metres square. The heaters are located over the customer seating area and blend in with the surroundings well. Upstairs was slightly more complicated - the ceilings are high and the building is very badly insulated. We went with 2 x 2000W industrial heaters. They work fantastically in the space. We've kept our customers warm through a cold winter, and the increase in our electric bill was nowhere near what we feared. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Infrared Heater Company.

Heaters for the Shop

We are situated in a very old pre 1900 Co-op building, there is no gas supply. Previously we struggled to heat the space using plug in electric heaters and oil filled radiators, these were unsafe for small children not to mention the huge electricity bills. In October 2016 I came across the infrared heating company while researching on the internet (probably wearing gloves and a scarf) I spoke with them at length on the phone for advice on my unique situation. The help I received was second to none, I am hoping to install more heaters in the future.

The building is enormous so we just bought what we could back in 2016. The heaters we have are 8x1300w Lux heaters and 2x 2000w commercial heaters. Being ceiling mounted takes away any risk of children burning them selves while dancing. We have them in most rooms attached to a room thermostat. We have found them extremely reliable and economical. I would recommend to anyone with any size property. We use them in small spaces as well as the vast space of the dance studios. Would recommend the company and the products I haven’t found better value anywhere.

Castlebay Bar on the Island of Barra

When I completely renovated the Castlebay Bar on the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, I needed a new smart heating system which would be effective as well as cost-efficient. I did some research on the internet and found the Infrared Heater Company. After a discussion with Dale, I ordered 3 Thermoglass ceiling panels (1300 watt) which are completely see-through, plus programmable thermostat. They were delivered promptly and were soon installed. They work brilliantly and we have received many compliments from our clientele. Barra can be cold when the wind is blowing and our Bar is now a warm refuge from the weather outside! People have also commented favourably on the attractive appearance of the plain glass panels. The photo only shows one of the panels - it is impossible to get a shot showing all 3.

Core Electrical Services Ltd

We are an electrical contractor specializing in motorcycle showroom installations. One of our recent installs included a requirement to fit out the workshops. Ordinarily these would be heated using a large gas heater such as a combat heater or similar but due to the lower ceiling height at this site an alternative had to be considered. Part of the problem with a garage is that the roller shutter door is often open to allow the bikes to be wheeled in and out, which means trying to keep the air temperature constant is quite difficult. After looking into the options available we decided to install Far “LUX” 800W infra red heating panels, ceiling hung on the chain suspension kit that comes with them. The heaters where positioned in between the bike ramps, above the work benches to optimize coverage where the mechanics would be most of the time. These heaters proved to be the ideal solution, giving great coverage and the feeling of standing in invisible sunshine. They look good too, blending in with the lighting scheme and have the added obvious benefit of being completely silent. We have a similar installation to do later this year and will definitely be using these heaters again.

Activewear Group

I recently purchased 4 x Commercial PRO Glow space heaters with 1 x room thermostat 701 and 3x radio frequency room thermostats.
We have never been exposed to infrared heating before so wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I was more than pleasantly surprised.
As you can see from the attached pictures we have used three positioned directly over our work stations and the fourth heating up our newly built office. We used qualified electricians to install the heaters and they have been put on their own RCD’s within the fuse box. Although we had initial trouble “pairing” the thermostats we were sent a “youtube” clip explaining how to do this and within seconds it became very obvious what we were doing wrong and it worked straight away. Our ceiling is 3500mm in height and we were advised to have them hanging 900mm from the ceiling our electrician wanted to install at 300mm we compromised at 600mm with the option to shorten or lengthen but having used them daily now for two months we are really happy at 600mm. I feel qualified in writing about our experience because we used these heaters extensively when the weather was minus 8 degrees outside and I have not heard one complaint about it being too cold, not one! Personally, I have to take my jacket and jumper off to remain comfortable when I work under them. I would describe the heat that these heaters provide as a subtle heat as opposed to a direct fan like heat and having the room thermostats set keeps the whole place nicely warmed in the most economical way, we really couldn’t be happier.

Ash & Co Workshops

I have two workshops that are both drafty and we were spending a fortune on conventional heating systems. We installed air conditioning in one workshop which costs around £350 per month in the winter months to keep the workshop warm enough to survive. We often have to add to that with gas bottle heaters too. So, when we took over our new workshop, a friend recommended FAR Infrared heating and we started to look into it. I looked at a few companies and phoned them up for advice. The one with the best advice and service, was the Infra Red Heater Co who told me everything I needed to know. So I ordered three of the larger heaters for the workshop. The install was simple and we wired in the thermostat and two heaters in no time. I had actually bought three but in the end we decided to only install two of them as they were so effective. Honestly, I think these heaters are brilliant. They are warm in no time and if you're standing underneath them within the range, it's toastie warm. We don't even have them on for that long as they're so good. Recently we installed a paint booth into the new workshop so we've raised one of the heaters up out of the way as we just don't need it. We plan to remove that one and install four of them into our main workshop now and just forget the aircon system altogether. It's just so good for a drafty environment compared to other heaters. It's the best purchase I've made this year. So if you're considering what to do for a new type of heating system, then I hope this review is useful. I can recommend the system and the company that sold it to me with no hesitation at all.

Thanks Dale and team!

Mecoco - Social Enterprise

Mecoco is a social enterprise making candles, and working with disabled adults and young people in a manufacturing environment. As many of our colleagues are wheelchair users and sitting still for prolonged periods, keeping warm was a priority for us when we were planning how to heat our new workshop. Being a non-profit organisation cost was important. Working with some people who are noise sensitive meant that noisy heaters were also not an option.
Then we came across IR heaters, and more importantly the Infrared Heater Company.
It is one thing to find a solution that sounds like it fits the bill. It is another thing to then be able to communicate quickly, reliably and professionally with someone about our needs. The company have been a pleasure to deal with and we are so pleased with the heaters. They were easy to install and, as we now also have them on remote sockets, we can turn them on first thing in the morning and the workshop is toasty warm for when we arrive for work.

Smalley Sparkenhoe Display Ltd

We are a display manufacturing company in Leicestershire, over the past few years we have struggled to heat out Spray shop as all the heat is dragged out by the air filters. We heard about a new technology of infrared heaters that heat the object not the air. After trawling the internet, we came across The Infrared Heater Company, I rang for advice and Dale explained fully how the system could work for us, which heaters we would require for the area and how many. When we received the heaters I again contacted the company for advice with installation. I cannot fault the customer service from start to finish, the heaters are working perfectly for our business, they are relatively inexpensive to buy and run. We are now considering heating the rest of our factory with this technology and will definitely come back to The Infrared Heater Company for their services.

Barbour & Sons Ltd

We are a clothing manufacturer and supplier so business is quite varied from factory’s to offices. warehouses and stores The attached pictures show one of the dispatch offices which is located in our main warehouse. This is manned by desk based staff who found the warehouse temperature too low as the don’t move around. The issue we had was the ceiling was very high and if we fitted conventional heating most of the heat would be lost in the void above unless a suspended ceiling was fitted.
We fitted 1 x 4000k heater which is the largest you that you supply. The staff were very sceptical of the infrared heater however once it was fitted it transformed the working temperature in the room and the staff were very happy indeed. The heater was a great price for the size of the room and also saved money on a suspended ceiling, this was an excellent answer to our heating problems. Our second install was in a completely different environment (unfortunately I cannot supply pictures as we are currently on lock down) This install solved a completely different type of issue. The problem I had was that the area is shared by two different departments. One set of staff work over a heated table all day so the always find the area too hot. The other staff work on inspection and input and always found the area too cold. I had fitted 2 x 2000k heaters above the inspection staff which allowed us to keep the main at quite a low temperature. This product was perfect and stopped all complaints from both sets of staff. I would highly recommend these products, they heat the person rather than the area and they save a lot of energy compared to conventional heaters.

Leeds wood Recycling

Leeds wood recycling is a social enterprise which diverts wood waste from landfill, giving long term unemployed people opportunities to access free training and volunteer opportunities. We have been running for one year and it’s been very cold! Being a start-up we didn’t have enough money in our first year to buy any heating. Our premises is a large warehouse with zero insulation, and a lot of timber around, so were initially unsure what the safest and most cost-effective way to heat the space was. Dale at The Infra red heater company was super friendly on the phone and advised us to use the Ceiling Mounted Panel Heaters, it’s something I hadn’t really heard of before but is a product that matches our needs exactly. The service was great, with speedy delivery and our retail and workshop team are so happy with the results. You’ll notice that our volunteer is even wearing a t shirt in the photo. In November! The heaters are safe, warm and cost-effective. We thoroughly recommend them!

Village Hall

We recently bought 17 of the Far Infrared Industrial Heaters in order to supply and install at a local village hall. Infrared Company was very helpful in letting us know which heaters would be best for the area and size of the job and replied quickly and professionally to our email questions. The heater panels arrived within a few days of order and there were no problems with packaging. One of the panels was missing the chains needed to hang them from the ceiling and Dale very quickly arranged a replacement one to be sent in the post. The instructions were simple and easy to read and the panels were easy to install. We were advised to install Infra-Red Panels as we are a rural location with no access to mains gas and the old system were very inefficient gas heaters which cost a lot to maintain and run, the village hall is now looking at installing solar panels to help reduce the ongoing costs of the electricity. The hall is now warmer and heats up a lot quicker when the thermostats are turned up. The panels look good in the hall, and as they are fitted to the ceiling, cannot pose any health and safety risks to users of the hall. The thermostats we have installed means its easier for users to control the temperature and the panels respond quickly. As they are a source of radiated heat (not convection like normal radiators) they heat up people and objects, not the air and as such we believe they will be more efficient in the long run.
We would definitely recommend these panels to other users and would suggest installing them in homes, offices and village halls like we have.

Church in Newport

I would like to forward to you our experience regards heating our Church this past year. Since 1976 our Church in Newport , Isle of Wight has been heated by a Gas Boiler with underfloor heating. In autumn of last year we found ourselves without heating for the winter as our boiler was condemned as unfit . As it happened of course we had very few meetings to heat for during last winter. So this spring and summer 2021 we had to find a new source of heating for the winter. We looked at a new boiler or gas radiators and found them expensive and of course against government recommendations. Then we looked at electric radiators and night storage which we found expensive as we were trying to heat a large area , a high sealing, and also would need thee phase electric power. We had a quote for it to find it to be at least £7000.00 to add to the cost of any sort of radiators. Thankfully we were in touch with Infrared Heater Co. who quickly pointed out that with Infrared we wouldn’t need 3 phase electric power, as they heat the people and furniture and not the space.
In September of this year we ordered 8 although 6 may have been sufficient Hellosa 2200W Infrared heaters .which we received in about a week . They were fitted in about two days and have been very effective and at times more than enough warmth. We would thoroughly recommend them for similar situations.
Sent from my iPad. I hope you find this useful. We still have the one that throws out the earth trip each time but stays on with a double click of the earth trip. We seem to be able to live with that. I’ll now follow this note with a couple of pics!

Thank you John.

Badcaul Church of Scotland

"Badcaul Church of Scotland has served the local village for over a century, but recent changes have been made to make the space more versatile for community use. This involved removing rows of pews from the front of the building to free up space for other activities – which created a problem: heating to this area had previously been by electric bar heaters below the now removed pews. With no mains gas available, oil fired central heating expensive to install, and a limited electrical supply to the building, options seemed limited – especially given the size of the building, the height of the ceiling, and little insulation. Then we contacted the Infrared Heater Company with a description of the problem, a sketch of the building, and a plea for help. The response was immediate, detailed and affordable. Very soon after two infrared ceiling panels were soon on their way north. Easily installed by willing volunteers, the heaters proved an instant success. After a short time to pre-heat, they effectively warm the activity space without having to heat the unused areas and roof space. Result: lots of happy exercise groups, social gatherings, craft classes and community lunchers.

We are deeply grateful to the Infrared Heater Company.
We couldn’t have done it without you.

City Praise Center

Having no functioning heating and a broken underground gas pipe caused us to rethink our heating system for our warehouse which houses a 500 seat auditorium. The previous gas heater for the unit was very uneven in the heat distribution, noisy and unsuitable to use during the service. After some initial exploration we discovered the possibility of using ‘no light infrared’ units. Speaking to Dale we discussed our requirements and situation. Our solution has been Infra red units hung from the roof (about 6m away from the floor) which are silent and have provided us with 3 controllable heating zones, producing even yet tailored temperatures across a building that previously had very clear hot and cold zones! Despite the units being located at the very edge of their ideal operating distance due to our lighting rig they are capable of heating the building from cold 6/7 degrees to 19 degrees in a couple of hours, which is then very easily maintainable. The panels themselves were delivered within a couple of days of placing the order and installation was through our local electrician who started on Monday morning and left us a warm building on Thursday evening! The app based remote control and programming saves worries about arriving early to turn it on or returning to see if someone’s left the heating on. We are very happy with this innovative solution as the panels are very unobtrusive and operation truly is hassle free!

Bristol South Aikido Dojo

Bristol South Aikido Dojo is a venue that provides martial arts training to students who vary in age from 5 years old to 75 years old. Our premises are rented and come with no heating source. In our first winter in our new home we found that without heating our premises were just too cold. This had a detrimental effect upon our classes and also affected attendance. Students did not want to come and freeze while training and class sizes and revenue dropped. As a result we decided that we needed to install some form of heating. Our training is a physical activity so we were looking for a form of heating that would generate an ambient temperature for our activities. Not too hot but not too cold. Also we were keen to avoid some of the issues with traditional heating such as fire risk, fumes from gas fires and of course high running costs. The Infrared system sounded ideal for our purposes and most of all sounded economical to run. After deliberations we selected Far Infrared Heaters ""LUX"", Infrared heating panels which we would hang from our ceilings at a height that would not impact our weapons training. We chose the most powerful ones available and purchased 3 although this was a little under the recommended number for the size of the room. The ordering process was very simple and our delivery arrived within a few days. An electrician was needed to help with fitting them which was not simple given that we do have high ceilings in our premises but in half a day they were in place. Winter is now completed. Overall I am pleased with the results. The room does not get hot but there is a warmth that students can feel. It makes our dojo much more welcoming and we have seen that students continue to attend classes. We more than cover running costs with extra attendance and the initial outlay should be recovered within the first year. Based on the success of my 1st order I purchased a further heater for a smaller room and that is even better that the original set.

Heaters for Dance Studio

We are absolutely thrilled with the new Infra RED HEATERS installed in our Dance Studio. We have struggled for years with our 6 x 3kw fan heaters never really reaching the corners of the studio where the children and elderly members are exercising . The serious cold winters have been a struggle to keep the occupants warm by just air heat , especially at floor level . Our timber roomed Studio looses heat as fast as we put it in . Everything has now changed with a comfort level never before experienced . We have saved a “fortune” in swapping 18kw for 5.2kw , and we now feel the true benefit of direct-to-body heat especially when wearing nominal exercise clothing and lying down in Yoga sessions . We cannot emphasise more the savings and comfort that we now enjoy .
Thanks Infra Red Company for the help and advice in choosing our system layout and sizing

Being a manager of a small charity I am constantly looking for ways to reduce our costs as well as improve our building and lower its expenses. Just before Christmas we had an unfortunate situation where 2 of our Heaters which heat our main-room broke down. We were looking at a cost of around £4000 for like for like gas heaters. We spoke to a few colleagues for advice and they recommended we look at the offering of the Infrared Heater Company. This was an urgent situation which needed to be rectified due to cold weather and Children being the main users of the hall. After browsing the website and calculating the size of our room, we contacted Dale via Email and phone to discuss our requirements. We were initially looking at 8-10x 2500W heaters, looking at spending in excess of £2500. We had very specific requirements due to the room size, the inconsistent usage and the durability of the item. After giving our needs to Dale he recommended an equivalent solution which ended up saving us a large sum of money for 4x 2 Kw IR Ceiling Mounted Heaters and a Programmable thermostat for around £1050 – Including Postage!!. We Received nothing but Amazing service from Dale and his team, the offering we wanted was initially out of stock so we had to wait a little while. This allowed our electrician to make the prep work. As soon as the item was available to ship we were able to place the order and were kept informed at all stages of the dispatch and delivery. The item was fitted easily and mounted to the ceiling without issue. Once the heaters were installed we have had no issues, they work as described and are flawless. A High Quality professional item, which looks sleek and is a minimalist addition to our ceiling space; in turn removing wall heaters we had in the past and the associated risks that come with them (See Pictured). Not only has moving to electric saved us money, using the Infrared Heater Company saved us a lot more money than we were expecting by tailoring the solution to our needs. We would recommend Dale and his team and have had enquiries from members of the public about our heaters which we will continue to pass onto the website.

Dance Studio in Newton Abbot

I had never been able to adequately heat the whole studio and was looking for a low cost heating solution. I looked into infrared and they seemed the best option. When I contacted the INFRARED Heater Company they were very helpful and advised me what would work best for my space.
I bought the infrared heaters for my large dance studios and they were delivered very quickly. I had never used infrared before. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of heat they give off. We have found our heating bills have halved!
Our heaters are on the ceiling and therefore safe from little fingers and no worries about children touching and burning themselves on a heater. Each heater covers a large area and is a perfect heat for dancing and exercising with. Its easy to turn on and off but I'm still trying to get to grips with the settings of the thermostat. However, if it gets too hot we can turn it down very easily.
I will definitely be buying more infrared heaters for the other studios and would recommend them to anyone who has a large space to heat :)

Elite Renewables

My client had been told for a long time that there was no effective heating solution for his gym that was located beneath a concrete rugby stand as it was not a proper building and there were lots of gaps between the concrete slabs that let in outside air. His only solution had been mobile LPG heaters which were very expensive to operate, bad for the carbon footprint and gave off fumes as well as being very localised heat which was unpleasant for the gym users. I recommended the use of infra-red heaters as I had used them before on other projects and they are always remarkably effective. We installed 9 heaters to cover the 40 metre long area, mounted about 3 metres above floor level to produce enough span and in spite of the initial doubts and reservations by the members, within a day or so the feedback was incredibly positive mixed with some amazement as to the effectiveness of the solution. The heaters manage to warm the space to a comfortable level without causing hot spots which would make working-out quite unpleasant. All in all, infra-red heaters have produced the perfect solution at a reasonable cost so I would, without doubt, continue to promote their use.

EP Gym

At EP Gym we have been using your Infrared heaters for over two years now, we didn't expect it to make as much difference as they have. We initially looked into being because we aren't on the mains gas supply so we tried little gas heaters which turned out to be very noisy & a health risk to our members. Eventually we decided to try these infrared heaters and well the feedback was great. As you can see from the picture we have hung them from the ceiling in various parts of the gym which creates a very efficient distribution of heat which is great in the winters months. As a whole they have been very easy to maintain & cost effective which is exactly what we were looking for.

Heaters for Theatre

I just wanted to send a quick email to tell you how UTTERLY THRILLED I am with the 2000w industrial heaters I purchased from you recently!
Customer service has been great, delivery was fast but most of all the product does what it says on the tin, for the first time in over 18 months my theatre is warm! My theatre is an old, cold and badly insulated building, it’s also massive and finding a way to heat it has been a nightmare.
We tried fan heaters, oil radiators and even fuel burning portable heaters and none of them worked, just 20 minutes after installing your heaters we were all warm, INFACT, for the first time ever we got so warm we had to turn them off and open windows!
We ordered 10 2000w heaters as we don’t have 3phase energy and just 5 of them in one part of the space has kept us toasty warm, we are fitting the others throughout the building.
I honestly can’t quantify how much this means to me and the impact it’s going to make on my business, I had people walking in last night and saying ‘oh it’s nice and warm in here’ that’s never happened as usually it’s colder in my space than it is outside.
I can’t recommend your company highly enough and will be getting more in the future I’m sure of that, if this review makes it to the website and any potential customers are considering buying them, DO IT, they are worth every penny!

Thanks again

Martial Arts and Fitness Academy

We run a martial arts and fitness academy and when we first started leasing the industrial unit we used electric heaters but they were so expensive to run and the benefit was not great. We then installed a gas heater which was very costly after some research we decided that infared heaters might be the way to go. Once they were fitted we instantly felt the benefits and the monthly cost on our gas bill went down dramatically. The customer service we received was brilliant when asking for advice on which product we should choose. We will be looking at installing more panel heaters in other areas of the unit as we expand and renovate.

Waterford Hatha Yoga Shala

We are absolutely thrilled with the new Infrared Heaters installed in our Yoga Studio. Our premises is an old building with very poor insulation, I heard some of the yoga studios in Ireland are using infrared heaters and they are great. I have been searching online to see the best cost effective and of course affordable price for one of those until I came across the Infrared Heater company. I was sceptical to order one of those at the beginning but THANKS Dale at The Infrared heater company he was super friendly on the phone and advised me to use the Ceiling Mounted Panel Heaters (Far Infrared Industrial Heaters. Commercial Heaters "PRO" No Glow Space Heaters), he went through the product with me patiently and to make sure the product that matches our needs exactly. He advised me to angle the heater at 45 degree as you can see from the picture our ceiling in the studio is low so mounting on the wall would be the safest and most efficient way to maximize the heat transfer to the room. I couldn’t believe the customer service was extremely great, with speedy delivery as well. My students and teachers can feel the different already since the infrared heaters have been put up. The studio is nice, cosy and warm with the comfort level which has been a great solution for the cold premises as the infrared heaters are very efficient way to distribute the heat which is great in the winter months. They are very easy to maintain and cost effective which is exactly what we were looking for. I have recently recommended the infrared company to my neighboring yoga studio about the products available from the Infrared Heater Company.

Community Space in Edinburgh

I set up a coworking and community space in an old warehouse near the sea in Edinburgh. After trying radiators and electric heaters, I needed a solution for our members sitting at desks and participating in mat classes. The infrared heaters have been a great solution for both our coworking space and our workshop space. They are super effective and easy to install and operate.

Heaters for Workshop

I first came across the heating panels when I visited my archives friend for New Year earlier this year. He had just competed a brick and glass conservatory and I was amazed that it was heated entirely by two clear 600W infrared panels connected to a timed thermostat supplied by your company. So impressed, upon my return home I ordered 4 of the 400w opaque heaters for my workshop where I am renovating my classic jeep. I sized the workshop using your table which worked out perfectly and attached then to the ceiling timbers as per the attached picture. I set the thermostat to 18deg C which was maintained throughout Jan Feb without any problem. Since then I have installed 3 of the clear 600w heaters in my holiday chalet, two on the living area and one in the bedroom. The place is now so cosy with a wonderful feel and the saving in propane will easily pay for the units. Unfortunately I don’t have any picture and can’t return there for a while. Finally I would add that the fitting of the units and thermostat is very well explained in the attached literature and straight forward for any diy person and the running cost is minimal compared to other conventional type heaters. I am very pleased and impressed with the technology and so glad I came across them.
Thanks Dale for your assistance.

Best regards
Peter Gregory.

We have heated our house with storage heaters for the last 25 years but when one finally stopped working late last year we realised new storage heaters, besides being very expensive also needed new extra wiring and therefore mess. So we decided to look elsewhere. A complete new radiator central heating system was not an option we wanted, because a boiler needs servicing each year, can break down meaning the whole house is frozen, (not just one room as an electric heater) and the radiators can leak. After some research we decided to replace the large 3.5KW storage heater with two 800 watt glass infra red heaters mounted at an angle above two doors, they just plug into a normal 13 Amp socket. We are delighted they keep our room warmer than the old heater with similar running costs – and that is on day rate electricity not cheap night rate. The heating is very pleasant, rather like warm sunshine, no noise and no vents to dust. The best thing being we can boost the heating easily at any time. They are easy to install and look great, they don’t interfere with the décor and leave floor space free. We also bought a panel heater on wheels which we will be wall mounting to replace another storage heater later in the year. The Infrared company were really helpful and delivery was very fast. We would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again when we replace our other storage heaters.

Home in Weybridge

We have been renovating a house we moved in to and decided to create more wall space in our sitting room by replacing two large radiators with some kind of heating alternative.
After extensive research and a visit to a home building exhibition, we decided to try some infrared panel heaters.
The 3 heaters supplied by Infrared Heaters have proved to be very successful, providing a gentle warmth where and when we want it.
They are small, inconspicuous, and aimed directly where we will be occupying the room, either in the sitting rooms TV viewing or desk zones.
They are flexible too, and can be turned on and off manually as required or controlled by a thermostat.
On demand heating will prove to be much more economical and efficient.
No more waiting for a radiator to heat up the whole room during the forthcoming winter months.
Over time, we will be looking to replace other radiators around the house too.

Holiday Chalet

As part of our holiday chalet refurbishment it has been necessary to source neat, efficient, space saving heating. It did not take me long to come across the Infrared Company and view their extensive product range.
I was able to quickly establish that these relatively new to the market heating systems would be ideal for the application needed in our case.
Being a small, 2 bedroom, open plan living area chalet on the Suffolk Coast we required both efficiency and flexibility of usage. The fact that in our case, the heathers are ceiling mounted is absolutely 100% a bonus to the small areas we need to heat total wall space to site our furniture.
Just 2 phone calls were necessary to ascertain the product most suited to our chalet giving me entire confidence to place my order. As the product was completely new to our electrician, Dale spoke to him to confirm to him a few technical details.
I placed my order in accordance with the advice given for the exact units we would need to suit our room sizes and within 48 hours I had taken delivery of the units. To the amazement of our electrician and builders team. They were not used to such an efficient and swift service in the provision of heating units for a project.
I did smile to myself each time I heard the sceptical words of the traditional building team when discussing my fabulous new Infrared Company heaters. They soon ate their words with a large dose of relish! No longer the chilly cold work space for my team. They were toastie warm and extremely impressed with the tiny ceiling mounted heaters keeping them warm while finishing off the project of renovating my chalet.
I have had a few folk trying to pop their heads in the door to take a look - but of course, they will have to wait! I placed a large 'We are in Lockdown' notice on the door. But I'm proud that my new Infrared Company heaters are 'pulling a crowd'.
So, 2 weeks into living at the chalet, we are absolutely thrilled and find the heaters to be more than we hoped for in terms of appearance, design, and efficiency. We opted for the remote control thermostats although we haven't had cause to use them remotely as yet.
The back up and support has been second to none and left me in no doubt that choosing a new innovative product was sensible, wise and safe.
We have a property in Spain also and I shall definitely be looking at taking units there. The winters are cold and these Infrared Company heaters will be the perfect heating form for our rural property. I shall be able to control the heating from afar if necessary eliminating possible damp in the house as well as keeping us warm when we visit during the cooler months.
Infrared Company have been easy to deal with and I would highly recommend Dale and his team. They can provide a heating solution so flexible and contemporary to suits most needs.

We had a lot of problems with the gas central heating in the house we recently moved to and after many callouts from engineers it was the case that the narrow piping was the problem. We did not want the disruption and mess of pulling up floorboards and channeling out walls, so we looked into alternative heating systems that are also energy efficient and look good. After a lot of research, we discovered the The Infra red heater Co Ltd. and had a call with them to talk through the options and prices for different sizes. Once we received the heaters, bearing in mind we only had 3 working radiators in a 3-storey town house which was freezing cold inside at this point, we were very pleased with the design of them and once they got up to temperature, they were really effective and heated the spaces really well and evenly, much more so than standard radiators. The heat feels more natural and as you walk past you can feel the warmth as they heat the floor around them too. Overall, we are really pleased with the radiators, and they look stylish in gloss white and take less space compared with radiators, and more importantly with increasing energy prices they are cheaper to run than traditional free-standing electric radiators. The service and delivery were really good too and we have been recommending the heaters to our neighbours in our road who are also having the same piping problems and they were really impressed with them.

I first heard of infrared Heating when speaking to my Solar Heating Panel supplier - and he said it is marvelous - so I Googled the system and came across The infrared Heating Company.
I could just say — «and the rest is history» — but l will expand……. I looked at a few sites that sell infrared heating panels - but the one that stood out for me was The infrared Heating Company - so after a reasonable amount of research and inquiries - I decided it was the system for me.
I believe that a lot of people have just one or two panels for additional heating where required and of course, the panels are well suited to that - but I wanted to have a complete central heating system and get rid of the radiators.
An electrician friend said - why not have just one to see if you like it - but t said no - my mind is made up to have a complete conversion.
Well my new system has been in a few weeks and of course, we are in quite a testing cold spell - sufficient for me to judge the performance and I am delighted to say it is really good - and as it is a heat akin to sunshine - without the harmful rays of course - it is really pleasant. My accommodation does include a fully windowed garden room and the infrared Panel heats it perfectly.
The infrared Heating Company was lovely to deal with - having patience with all my many queries and. amendments to design - so that they were sure that I would be happy with the final choice of size and style.
The electricians that installed the system for me hard-wired all units into the loft of my bungalow and wired down to isolation switches in my hall cupboard - one switch for each panel - so that t have total control of the needs for each season - that is - say in autumn if it turns a bit chilly when you sit down for a bit of TV - just one unit where you are can be switched on for a little bit of comfort - perfect and you are only using the wattage of that one planet.
I cannot recommend this system highly enough - quite economical to buy and it is possible to install yourself - but if not just get a couple of electricians to quote.
Strangely not many people have heard of this system - including electricians - but from my experience so far it is a winner all round - neat and tidy clear glass panels hang from the ceiling - no dust space taking radiators - furniture can be arranged better and if - tike me - you are All-Electric it is more economical to run than other systems and I think actually with the hike in gas and oil prices it will probably contend well with the other fuels.
Of course The infrared. Heating Company does offer a full range and, there are wall-hung panel heaters - free standing plug-in heaters - all sorts - take a look at the infrared Heating Company's website and see the range for yourself.
I love the system I have - for so many reasons and let's not forget the big one ... how green am I ? !!
Hats off to The infrared Heating Company and many thanks for a very pleasant buying experience.
