We have purchased 2 infra red heaters from the Infrared Heating Company Ltd.
The first heater purchased was a 900 watt thermo glass max heater. We fixed it above the door in the dining area and all I can say is WOW this heater is marvelous. The room is always toasty and with the radio frequency thermostat the temperature is always exactly where it needs to be plus, because we fixed it above the door using the brackets supplied, it is angled directly down into the room and the only way I can describe it is you have a lovely warmness around you, the heater does not just direct heat into one part of the room as is the case with most heating it is evenly spread around the room.
We were so pleased with our purchase that we bought a second heater, the 750 watt picture heater for our sitting room. We previously had a storage heater in this room and the infrared heater more than surpasses what we previously used. It is fixed above the ornamental fireplace and it directly the heat all around the room from this position.
The heaters are extremely economical even when the temperature outside is really low. We never feel the cold inside and they are so versatile in that you can raise or lower the temperature really easily and quickly which is what you need with our inclement weather! Infrared heating is a fairly new concept I believe but I can only speak from my experience and I have not been disappointed, I love this form of heating and will be buying more heaters from the Infrared Heating Company.
They could not have been more helpful, any questions I had originally were answered immediately and their customer service is second to none, I can thoroughly recommend them. Anyone looking for an alternative economical way of heating their home need look no further.
